Gary J. Bierc
Gary J. Bierc is the President, CEO and founder of The Kingson Group Limited. He brings nearly 20 years of strategy, risk, finance and entrepreneurial experience to the firm.
Mr. Bierc created and developed Kingson SRMSM (Strategic Risk Management), the firm's unique approach to enterprise-wide risk management or ERM. In his previous role as Director, Global Risk Management for Moore Corporation Limited, he was appointed as the "champion" of Moore’s ERM initiative. He is one of only a handful of ERM practitioners who has actually implemented a "fully integrated" ERM program.
Mr. Bierc was quoted in the Economist Intelligence Unit report, Enterprise risk management: Implementing new solutions (May 2001). He has served as an ERM expert panelist and as a seminar presenter on the subject of ERM. He has authored several published articles on the subject. His latest article, "Risk Management infr! astructure Can Boost Corporate Performance", was published in Financial Executive, May 2003.
Mr. Bierc's background also includes assignments as Finance Director, Assistant Treasurer, and as Founder and President of a start-up helicopter-based scheduled airline. Mr. Bierc holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management from the University of Delaware and has a Master of Business Administration (Marketing) from Loyola College in Maryland.
